Geospatial Gateway (NRCS)

The USDA portal for "one-stop" data acquisition that includes current NAIP (Nat'l Agriculture Imagery Program) imagery by county.

In addition to the NAIP data, this site is an easy way to get base layers often helpful when working with leaf on imagery.

Use the "Quick County" button to specify a US county, and then "check off" the layer needed; then specify the desired map projection (Lat/Long, UTM or State Plane). The "package" will be prepared and you will be directed via e-mail to an FTP site for downloading.
