The USDA Forest Service and the Massachusetts Tree Wardens & Foresters Association are hosting this 2 day workshop to develop "strike teams" for the Northeastern states.

Who Should Attend?:
Urban Foresters, Arborists, Tree Wardens, Foresters and others in related professions in the Northeast Area who meet the following guidelines are invited to register:

  • Must be a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture or have other similar certification
  • Must have basic knowledge or experience with risk tree assessment
  • Should have an interest in participating locally, in-state or regionally in storm response
  • Must be willing to complete several basic NIMS/ICS on-line courses, including:

         IS-100 Introduction to Incident Command System

         IS-200 Basic Incident Command System for Single Resources & Initial Action Incident

         IS-700 NIMS An Introduction
