Training and protocols for Urban Forest Strike Teams in the southern region are being developed by the Southern Group of State Foresters from a model developed by the North Carolina and Virginia urban and community forestry programs.

The current Advisory Committee includes: Leslie Moorman, NC U&CF, Paul Revell and Barbara White, VA U&CF, Rick Olson, MS U&CF, and Pete Smith, TX U&CF.

Urban Forestry South provides technical assistance to the Advisory Committee as requested.
